Berries and Cream

Berries and Cream   We made coconut whipped topping to put on our strawberries and blueberries. All you need is: 1 can (full fat) coconut milk and powdered sugar You will also need: a cold mixing bowl a cold whisk and a can opener You will want to be sure to have the can of coconut milk stay in the refrigerator over night to allow the cream to rise to the top. We then started at the top just off center and cut down to the middle and then did the same on the other side so that we had a basket handle. Next we started scooping out the watermelon. After we scooped out all the melon balls we started scraping it clean. We poured the juice through a strainer and into a cup to save for our ice pops. Next we poured it into the ice pop molds. Here we have the ice pops and the basket and then we decided to cut out...

Here is the recipe we found – http://low-cholesterol.food.com/recipe/vegan-oatmeal-cookies-68430 We didn’t have applesauce but we did have apples. We didn’t have brown sugar but we did have sugar, a little molasses and honey. So…. let’s get started!! First we started out by making our applesauce. We didn’t want the apples to turn brown so we made orange juice to soak them in. We forgot to take a picture while peeling and coring the apple but this is one of our favorite kitchen tools to work with. Here are the apples all cored, peeled, cut up and soaking in the orange juice...
