Raspberry and Blackberry Nail Polish
Raspberry and Blackberry Nail Polish I made nail polish today!! We were looking for a way for me to have nail polish without the chemicals and dyes. My mom and I came up with this idea… please know that this does come off easy when washing your hands or picking at your nails but it was a very fun project. Here is what you need: glue, raspberries, blackberries, strainer, make-up or nail polish brush, some containers, fork, spoon and a toothpick or something small for stirring First you want to mash up the raspberries. Next you will use the strainer to separate the juice so that there are no chunks. Then we put the glue in a separate container. We then started adding a little juice at a time while stirring to get the color I wanted. If it gets too watery you...
Girly Flip Flops
Girly Flip Flops!! I decorated my flip flops today. All you need is: really good craft glue (I found one that worked well on rubber, fabric and several other things) ribbon flowers and flip flops this is what I used.. there are lots of other items that would be fun as well My mom heated the edges of the ribbon with a match so it wouldn’t unravel. We then put a line of glue all across the top of the flip flops. Next we put on the ribbon. And finally we glued the flower on in the center. There it is… Girly Flip Flops!! Thank You!!
Easter Baskets
Make your own Easter basket!! All you need is 1 sheet of paper and glue. Card stock worked best for this project. First you fold the corner up to make a triangle. Next you will fold the extra part back and forth so you can tear it off. Then open the triangle and refold it the opposite way. After you have an X on your paper you will fold each of the four sides into the center of the paper. Then you can fold in the corners to create the box shape. Take the extra section of the paper and tri-fold it to make the handle. Glue it all together and there you have a basket. Finally you can decorate it and fill it any way you want. Thank you and hope you have a very happy Easter!! Tyler and...
