Watermelon Basket and Watermelon Pops

 

We had fun with a watermelon today.

All you need is:

1 Watermelon

Knives (whatever you find works best)

Bowl

Ice pop mold

Melon ball scoop

Strainer

First we started halfway down the watermelon and cut almost to the center

and then cut the other side almost to the center.

We then started at the top just off center and cut down to the middle

and then did the same on the other side so that we had a basket handle.

Next we started scooping out the watermelon.

After we scooped out all the melon balls we started scraping it clean.

We poured the juice through a strainer and into a cup to save for our ice pops.

Next we poured it into the ice pop molds.

Here we have the ice pops and the basket

and then we decided to cut out little triangles on the basket.

All Done!!

Here is our watermelon basket and watermelon pops all finished.

And the watermelon pops were all ready the next day.  Tasted Great!!
